Setting Up Your Initial Affiliate Program Offer

Once you install the Affiliate Manager, you can configure your initial affiliate program offer through the admin area.

The default affiliate program is the only one required for your affiliate program. If you have one website and want to pay out one payout amount for your products, you only need to edit the default affiliate program.

Configure Your Default Program

To set-up your default program, follow these steps:

  • Click on Program Offers > Manage Program Offers on the left-hand admin menu.
  • On the View Programs page, click on the Edit icon to start
  • The Manage Program page will show three different tabs - Program Info, Description, and Remote Affiliate Links

Program Info Tab

Program Name - The name of your affiliate program offer.

Signup Link - A unique alphanumeric ID for your program.

Landing Page Url - The website URL that you want users to be sent to after clicking on the program's affiliate link.

Commission Levels - The number of commission levels for this program. The affiliate software supports up to 10 levels.

Enable Pay Per Action - If you want to enable pay-per-action or pay-per-sale, enable this option. This is the default option for affiliate programs.

Enable Pay Per Click - If you want to pay users for each affiliate click, enable this option.

PPC Interval - If you enable Pay-Per-Click, set the amount of minutes in between affiliate clicks that a commission is generated.

Enable CPM - If you want to enable CPM, enable this option.

CPM Unique IP Only - If you only want to pay affiliate clicks from unique IP addresses, set this option.

Recur Commissions Every X Days - If you want to pay a recurring commission, set the number of days to generate a recurring commission here. If you are using a payment gateway that generates payments automatically, such as Paypal IPN, do not enable this option as commissions will get generated automatically when a payment comes in via IPN.
